The BMF Young Merchants Group continues to flourish and earlier in 2024 a group of intrepid young merchants led by the recently appointed Chair, Ed Parlato took a trip to Sweden and were hosted by Arbor Forest Products Ltd and Holmen Group.
They were given a captivating glimpse into timber production from tree nurseries to high-tech harvesting.
Overseas supplier visits like these are a cornerstone of the Young Merchant Group to help give a new perspective and provide networking opportunities and new contacts to group members.
The next YMG overseas planned trip will be to the UFEMAT Conference in Copenhagen in September.
