Builders’ merchant Civils & Lintels (C&L) has agreed a sponsorship deal with the English Rugby League, with its branding set to appear on digital perimeter boards at selected Super League fixtures during the 2026 season.
The move marks the company’s first involvement in Rugby League sponsorship and follows wider sports partnerships across the Huws Gray group, including support for match officials in English football and perimeter board sponsorship in Scotland.

Focus on Brand Visibility and Community Links
Commenting on the partnership, Allan Wright, managing director of Civils & Lintels, said: “We’re proud to be taking this step into Rugby League for the first time but this is about more than simply brand awareness.
Sports such as rugby league share many of the same values that we do as a business – not least of all teamwork and resilience. I was very proud to see Civils & Lintels on screen this weekend and look forward to witnessing the positive impact that this sponsorship has.”
The sponsorship forms part of a broader strategy by the builders’ merchant group to align its brand with national sporting fixtures, increasing visibility while supporting community-based activity linked to construction supply markets.
