BITO Storage Systems is the UK subsidiary of a long established manufacturer of storage, handling and picking solutions for businesses. Manufacturing in Germany and Poland, we have a centrally located warehouse in Nuneaton that supplies customers throughout the UK.
Any company that makes, receives, stores, moves or picks products can benefit from using
BITO solutions.
Whatever your business size or industry sector you work in, we are able to develop a solution that will improve your usage of space or improve your processes.
If your requirements are quite straightforward, products can be ordered online or via email or phone.
Alternatively, larger or more complex requirements may need a designer to visit your site, listen to your ideas and then design a solution for you.
If an installation needs to be assembled, we have a team of project managers and installers who will manage it from start to finish to ensure your satisfaction.

Products and solutions
Bins and containers
One of the widest ranges available, we have picking containers that can store the smallest of fixings through to half euro pallet boxes designed to be moved by a forklift. The majority are metric sized, making them compatible with euro pallets. The sizes of containers also mean they fit very neatly onto our shelving with no wasted space.

Shelving
Hard wearing, galvanized steel shelving suitable for storerooms or picking areas. A “starter & add-on bay” design means that a long run of shelving can be built and extended in the future. Shelving combined with containers for small parts storage is particularly popular for storerooms. Sloping shelf versions are also available that make the identifying and picking of items even easier.

Carton live flow shelving
A development from sloped shelving in that shelves are not solid, but are made from roller track which, thanks to gravity, means items will roll forward. The concept of roller track flow shelving is to load from one side and pick from the other. In this way a deep bay can be used without it being necessary to over-stretch to retrieve an item. In a busy environment, it also means the loading and picking functions do not get in each other’s way.

Pallet live racking
An extension of carton live flow shelving, applied to pallet racking. As its name suggests, pallet live is a way of storing pallets that increases the capacity of racking without increasing the footprint by enabling pallets to move from one side of a bay to another. The sloped nature of each roller bed level means that gravity pulls pallets to move from the loading side to the opposite picking or unloading side. If pallet live is not suitable, standard static pallet racking is available as an alternative.

Mezzanine floors and multi-tier shelving
An obvious way to get more storage and picking capacity from the same floor space is to extend upwards. This can be achieved with a mezzanine floor or multi-tier shelving – both designed to maximise available floor space. Multi-tier shelving is an excellent system to store non-palletised items on multiple levels with walkways between shelving for manual picking.

Cantilever racking
A system designed specifically for the storage of long items that are too large to fit into pallet racking. Typical items suited to cantilever racking are pipes, tubes, rolls of carpet or lengths of timber. Pallets ca also be stored in cantilever racking, especially if the racking is fitted with grated metal decks.
