The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has been shortlisted in three categories at the Association Excellence Awards, recognising its work representing the UK building materials sector.
The trade body has been named as a finalist for Best UK Association, while its All Industry Conference has been shortlisted in the Best Longstanding Association Event category.
BMF Chief Executive Officer John Newcomb has also been shortlisted for the Association Leader of the Year award.
Industry recognition follows previous awards success
The latest nominations follow the BMF’s recent success at the Memcom Excellence Awards, where the organisation was also shortlisted in two categories.
The Association Excellence Awards celebrate the work of trade associations and professional membership organisations across the UK and Europe, recognising organisations that represent their members and promote their industries.
John Newcomb, Chief Executive Officer of the BMF, said: “We are extremely proud to be acknowledged in several categories at the Association Excellence Awards.
“This success highlights the commitment and effort of our entire team as we continue to support our members and advocate for the building materials industry.”
Winners of the Association Excellence Awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on 13 November.
