Travis Perkins Managed Services (TPMS) has been appointed to the Communities & Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) Merchants and Materials Framework until 2036, supplying products and materials for the repair and maintenance of social housing.
Following a formal tender process, TPMS has been appointed as a supplier across the general construction, plumbing, hire and managed stores categories.
The framework provides a route for CHIC members to procure merchant and materials support for their housing stock, with TPMS currently supplying more than 180 housing associations and local authorities.
TPMS appointed to social housing materials framework
TPMS is part of the Travis Perkins Group and is supported by the group’s national branch network.

Rosie Wise, managing director of TPMS, said: “We’re so pleased to be part of the CHIC framework. With a raft of legislative changes on the horizon for the social housing sector, it’s more important than ever for social landlords – whether that’s a housing association or local authority- to be confident that their supply chain partners will be best placed to support them.
“Our teams work really closely with our customers to understand exactly what they need, whether that means opening a dedicated branch just for their operatives, setting up our autonomous TPgo SelfServe units, or using our TPgo digital suite.
“We want to make sure that every one of our customers’ operatives has just what they need whenever they need it, to make sure residents’ homes are safe, warm and dry.”
The appointment covers the supply of materials and services used in the repair and maintenance of social housing properties.
CHIC framework supports housing repairs and maintenance
CHIC is a member-owned asset management and procurement consortium providing its members with access to supplier frameworks.
The consortium has more than 350 members and 1,500 supply chain partners, ranging from SMEs to national tier 1 contractors. It supports 4.3 million homes across the UK.
Access to its frameworks is available to CHIC members.
Giles Newman, CHIC assistant director, merchant services, said: “We are pleased to welcome Travis Perkins Managed Services to CHIC’s Merchants and Materials Framework. Their appointment follows a robust procurement process and reflects the strength of their offer, particularly their commitment to delivering tangible social value alongside high-quality merchant and materials support.
“We look forward to working with TPMS to help our members access reliable, responsive solutions that support the communities they serve.”
